A museum fully and contextually exploring the subject matter which it seeks to convey, in an immersive yet educational manner
— Becket S.
My perfect museum is large building full of art throughout different time periods and historically accurate rooms to go along with the art. There would be cases with the clothes, weapons, kitchenware, and other items from each of the time periods. The museum would just focus on one region and how it has changed over time.
— Maxine P.
My perfect museum is fee, accessible, educational for all people
— Sam K.
My perfect museum is one that fosters diversity and focuses on what makes each individual unique.
— Ryan B.
My perfect museum is a space where different kinds of marginalized people are represented.
— Zakiya J.
My perfect museum is one where I leave actually remembering something and feeling inspired. One where I can go home and excitedly tell someone what I learned and inspires me to think about and discuss related things. So many museum experiences have been so forgettable and passive where I really couldn’t have said I learned anything.
— Julie S.
I think that the perfect museum is a museum that is accessible to all and can be celebrated no matter what language, race, sexual orientation, or gender the person is. Museums are a place to showcase something and my perfect museum would do that!
— Ally H.

— Noa S.
My Perfect Museum is a museum where people can express their thoughts about artwork, and other people will see it. This could be in the form of sticky notes, discussion boards electronically, et cetera. In addition, the perfect museum would have art from various minority groups, no matter the time period or region.
— Lucy E.
My Perfect Museum is a place that’s free and near public transportation with interesting architecture and interactive content
— Maddie S.
My Perfect Museum is a museum that confronts its past and works to use its resources to educate its visitors and community members on the histories it is a part of. I want it to contribute positively to the communities it is a part of and the communities it may get many of its resources (labor, artifacts, knowledge) from. My perfect museum is one that is led by a diverse group of people, and showcases diverse perspectives. My perfect museum is accessible, open to the public, and encouraging of creative and academic exploration.
— Gabriella O.
My Perfect Museum is...: a space that transcends time, choosing a community and exploring it from a variety of different perspectives. I would hope that they use art to provide context and social commentary on a variety of topics with different levels of seriousness. Whether the topic is intergalactic or hyper-localized, museums should use their power as a cultural teacher to positively influence their community.
— Ayden C.
My perfect museum is inclusive and interactive. It engages the community in a way that appeals to the many different cultures that are growing and changing in the U.S. Beliefs, morals, and behaviors all depend on someone’s culture. If museums were able engage people from different walks of life in a way that they would understand and enjoy, they would be even more successful.
